Responsibilities Of The Workplace Trainee
Ensure assigned tasks are completed within the set time frame allocated by the Workplace Trainer & Assessor.
Seek assistance from your workplace coach or supervisor when completing activities and exercises.
Advise the Workplace Trainer & Assessor if you are experiencing difficulties completing set tasks.
Attend every appointment as scheduled between yourself and the Assessor and provide reasonable notice to the Assessor if you are unable to attend.
Ensure the Pre-Assessment checklist in your workbook (if provided) has been discussed and completed with your coach or supervisor prior to assessment.
Undertake and record completed actual hours under Structured Training Withdrawal, where required.
Be responsible for all trainee materials provided to you and to bring the required materials to each assessment.
Return all unused materials to the employer or RTO if you withdraw from the course.
Inform the Workplace Trainer & Assessor of any possible RPL or Credit Transfer you wish to apply for and to provide copies of relevant certificates, etc. This must be done by your first assessment visit.
Completed worksheets must be photocopied and mailed to the Workplace Trainer & Assessor (not the office) by registered mail. If a photocopy has not been taken of posted worksheets and the worksheets go missing, it is the responsibility of the trainee to pay for the replacement of the worksheets and to complete them again to pass that module.

Structured Training Withdrawal Diary
As part of your traineeship conditions, you are required to complete relevant assessment task at work. This may include:-

Completion of your workbook (at work),
Research assessment task (at work),
Meeting with your workplace coach,
Practicing what you have learnt from assigned modules and
Performing assessments on the job.

Time allocated for your structured training hours per week will be dependent on your standard rostered weekly hours.

For example if you work 38 hours or more per week your structured training withdrawal is 3 hours or more.
If you work 15 hours to 20 hours per week your structured training withdrawal is 1.5 hours.

The above mentioned hours should be based on a four week cycle.
You are also required to complete your structured training diary as in structured by your Workplace Trainer & Assessor.
